I have found the following dealer/servicing guide (http://www.unixnerd.demon.co.uk/garages_seng.html) for the South of England which some of you might find quite interesting reading.

I am having real trouble getting my car booked in with Phil Crouch at CPC (promising to return calls etc.) and was wondering if anyone has any experience with other independent specialists in the NW London/Hert area? I need an inspection II and rear discs/pads. Options from the above link are Prestige Performance (http://www.prestigeperformance.co.uk/) in St Albans or TCS Auto Engineers (http://www.tcsautos.co.uk/) in High Wycomb.

Alternatively I work in Oxford during the week. I have had recommended by a colleague a guy called Mark Purcell, a specialist in Oxford. Anyone had any dealings with him?

Thanks!

Hey,

I have used TCS in the past, for my 3-series.

I switched to K&M Autotechincs in Windsor (http://www.kmautotechniks.co.uk/), after reading about them on here, plus they could pick my car up, service and drop off while i was at work.

Both are knowledgeable, friendly etc. i don't have any old bills from TCS (the car's now gone) but can dig out some K&M bills for ref if req'd.

Thanks - Windsor may be a bit far to travel for me.

Car is currently with CPC. Will see how they get on.

I've used J & D in High Wycombe before from that list to sort out the annual fluids change and do an oil change for me in November last year.

Colleagues at work used them religiously and assured me I should take my car there.

The workshop site is a little daunting and rough and ready\down to earth for anyone used to main dealer style environments but they had rave reviews and the railway station is 5 mins walk away.

I use Garry Woolett at Autobahns, based in Rickmansworth.
http://www.autobahnservices.co.uk/aboutus.htm

Pretty sound type of bloke, knows his onions round the S50...well most zimzimmers to be honest and he normaly answers the phone quickly. Wont do anything extra without running it past you first either.

Thanks for that - could be very useful. Has a pic of a Z3MC on the ramps on his site as well :cornut:

I'll see how I get on at CPC this time round...

Technosport in N.W London are very good as well. Always has a garage full of M Cars, but very quick and efficient.
