Hi All,
As we are all aware Donington is going to be a great event. We are looking at printing up some window stickers for all the owners and graphics for Rod's and Chris's cars. Also we are looking at some flyers and cards.
These will of course cost money so can we have a quick poll on what you all think would be acceptable to contribute towards the printing costs AND the site improvements Mike has planned - all of which he provides out his own pocket at present.
So ....

The £15 on the poll is mine, when I tried to log my vote it would not accept hence the £15 posting as well.

I've replied a tenner which is a nice round amount and on the basis of the initial replies seems generally acceptable. If 50 people give £10 that's er, oh yes £500, which seems like a reasonable budget.
But I've no idea exactly what we are thinking of producing and how much it might cost. If someone in the know states we need more I'm prepared to pay more for a great day out that I'm eagerly anticipating (not forgetting maintaining the site) - but at present I don't have much to go on.
This is a bit chicken and egg'ish so at some point we need to establish a reference point. If £500 sounds like a reasonable figure to work with, lets determine and state what we can do for that and then we just need to get comitment from people for a tenner - surely no one is going to bawk at that.

Thanks for all the feedback. With the Donington meet coming up, I've mentioned in there about possible donations. In that specific instance we're going to have to pay for logos for the racecar, another large batch of window stickers and once we get an idea of numbers, see about merchandise and the like. But this is all open to suggestion.
The recent burst of activity has also meant we're looking at various options to reduce the current cost to us, once I have an idea how this will pan out, I'll see about the "suggested donation" idea of £10 from members. But obviously I'll have to outline what this would you paying members, how it would be spent etc. Until I get the various issues resolved, I can't say much more, but its been really useful to get this sort of feedback in the first place.
