Having left my MCoupe below a tree for a week I found it absolutely covered in hardened bird****. Since the local jetwash was bust I decided to get a good old fashioned bucket of hot soapy water and a sponge . . . finding that the **** had hardened to cement I stupidly decided to use an old sink sponge with a scourer-type thing on one side, and  of course later noticed that I'd scratched the paint finish. I'm planning to use Meguiars NXT Techwax since that seems to be the best bet looking through old posts, but any further advice would be gratefully received.
