Hey people

A friend of mine has a lake in the suoth west of france and we decided to get away for a week

what a beautiful country :!: the roads are awesome, all perfectly surfaced and lots of twisties

the scenery makes the UK look dull!

and the weather was stunning!

How relaxing it was to spend a week travelling, fishing, drinking french wine, eating great food by the lake

peoperty seems so cheap there too, I am seriuosly thinking about a holiday home which we can also rent out for a few weeks of the year

I have posted a couple of pics of the monsterous fish we caught in my gallery for anyone interested :D

Quite a catch you have there Lee ;)

Nothing like fishing to get away from it all - we've a stretch in Masham, North Yorks where we fly fish.

Property in France is cheap for a reason - the government have a wierd wealth tax system which makes actually living there an expensive business.

Thanks guys!

Si, yes I have heard about the french tax system, but if It is run as a business registered in the uk it makes things a little easier I think.

In need to look into it further, thanks for the link.

Ben, yes some big fish, we had 55 out between us, and the misses had more 30's than me and the larger fish at 37lb so you can imagine I have been getting lots of verbal abuse!

(give me a call)
