Anyone in London (and particularly those going to Le Mans) fancy a beer or three at some point over the next few weeks?

Yes Chris,
Although I'm going to Denver on Saturday for two weeks. Would be good to meet about a week prior to the event. I'm going on the Thursday morning.
not london but ill come done for a drink!
a week before sounds good! fingers and everything crossed in a nice MC!!!!!!!!!!!!
I won't be in my coupe at Le Mans (even if it still isn't sold by then) but I am in London for the foreseeable future (during the week) with work, so may be around for a beer.

Guys
How about next Wed (7th) or Fri (9th) for some beers?
Chris.
Chris, Dale, Lee...
Do I still count as part of the London Crew? Still have a ZMC... we're just a few thousand miles apart...
Though I did buy another beemer yesterday in Hong Kong... a fat boy 745i....
If I can't have speed (no point in HK), then I'll have middle-age luxury instead.. plus it's for entertaining friends/family who visit and it was this or a 4x4...
Hope you're all well. Have a beer on me.

LOL - no wasn't trying to engineer a 'Rob free' evening....
I'm getting pretty excited now having perused a few of the pistonhead threads about Le Mans.
Should we arrange to meet up somewhere on the track at some point?

that would be cool, most people are in camping blue,
i cant make the drink tomorrow, but the mass meet at lemans sounds good!
we could have a party in my 4 man tent, plenty of space for me then!

Yeah, I'm swamped with things to do so can't make the pre Le Mans drinks. But we should all meet up at the event. I'm in the same group as Lee and I'm sure we're staying at camping Bleu. Leaving Thursday morning, from Portsmouth to Caen. Just left my wheels in for a refurb, hope there ready in time :D

Good to see another MC taking the trip over. I'm happy to arrange a meeting point for those who don't catch up beforehand. I think I mentioned it before, but how about 2 pm Friday on the short stretch between arnage and indianapolis corners? Will you be there by then?
Chris.

Ok, how about 6pm? We won't be allowed on the track on Sat morning and would be good to get a few photos of MC's lined up.
Fingers crossed I'll be there in mine....(see post in Tech section).
Heading off in a few hours, overnight ferry to Le Havre, should be in Le Mans by mid morning Thursday.
Staying at BSJ again, look out for a flag with K on it..
Will keep my eyes open for coupe out and about!
Leaving the Mrs at home this year
6pm is good Chris
see you there!
Have fun guys... I'm stuck in hong kong physically but will be wishing I was zipping through the french countryside in my ZMC...

Le Mans was awesome yet again, despite not being able to drive down in the MC. I only managed to find Dale at the campsite (Lee had gone off for more road testing... :D ), plus I bumped into Chippy at the tunnel crossing on Thursday morning. No group MC photos from me though.
Audi's efforts with the Diesel were exceptional - an eerily quiet car when you hear it next to the corvettes, pescarollo's or the Lister.

Boys just got back really disappointed they didn't see any other M Coupes car was fab but got ticket 174kmph!! Got great new ring tone of the Pannos racing!
Chris,
Sounds like fun... sorry I missed it.
Hopefully some of the others got some group shots?
Is there a ZMC Diesel in the planning....?
Rob
I got a grab shot out of a car window of a Estoril Blue - ****JDC?? probably blurred, but I'll have a look when I've sorted through the rest. Also saw a silver one at one point - but that was it!

Chippy, did you go to LM in your MC? The ONLY one I saw was Lee's in Arnage village. Was my mate in the Porker, a truly stupidly fast car as it's modified.

Went down in the coupe but it spent most of the time parked up due to beer intake :!:
Also saw you driving near Arnage corner early evening on Sat

Decided that it would be good to watch quite a lot of the race this year from different places so spent quite a lot of time in the car on Saturday driving to Arnage, Mulsanne and Tetre Rouge - well worth staying off the beers. The the missus an I stayed up from 2am 'till 6am in the main pit grandstand drinking beer and watching the race.

Anyone make it to the Charlatans concert around 11am at the Dunlop bridge? Was a great crack with no more than 200 people there, made even more amusing by 2 fights that broke about between rival stag groups and then one pissed little french guy who decided to have a go with two english lads with an average height of 6'6".
wicked, missed that one!
maybe it was one of the english muppets who pulled me shorts down whilst drinking my beer!
nothing to see here!
