Another query folks....!
The right hand pair of tailpipes seem to sit lower than the left hand tailpipes. Any tips on an easy fix? I have not had a look at it yet, but thought it may be an exhaust hangar / rubber block they sit in issue but thought I would ask as it seems jobs are easier when you have an idea beforehand!
cheers,
JJ

Not 100% sure, but i need to look at mine, the right side is too far right and lower than the left one, although both have started to melt the bumper! bugger! (eisenmann 76mm BTW)
I am going to just try loosening at the rubber mounts, re adjusting and tighten back up, will let you know how and if it works!!

There are 2 fixed threaded points of attachment on the silencers which bolt firmly onto very firm rubber supports fixed to the underside of the car. There is very little scope for adjustment on these fittings.
The only way that I can see that you can get the pipes level would be to place home-made shims beneath the silencer brackets attached to the car on the side where the pipes are the highest.
When you say not level, it obviously depends on what you are taking the level off. Is it the bumper cut out for the tail pipes or is it the floor? If its the latter, make sure you park on a level smooth patch and then check the height of the 2 rear wheel arches from the floor.
Hope this helps.

well on mine the right side sits about bang on horizontal, the left side is slightly pointing up. suppose i need to find the happy medium.
as for the bumper melting, i suppose i need to move them both inwards as on both sides it is melting the outer edge of the cut out.
Will try with using some washers as shims then me thinks....
(i can't stop laughing when saying shims, reminds me of Bangkok, I am such a kid! hehehe!)

Getting back to the subject before we get deleted by broccers, the exhaust brackets are slotted, ( all three of them ) so you do have some adj. make sure you loosen the connection to the front part of the exhaust as well before trying to adj. you will get more adj. this way.

Thank Steve1,
The comment on the lady boys reminded me of the antics we used to get up to within the Glasgow MG club, many moons ago.Playing football with a frozen chicken at 7.00 am on the front lawn of the Galley of Lorne hotel, tins of dog food for prizes, and making the nancy boys from Edinburgh look like water skiers during tug o' war, which takes some planning, believe me!
