To anybody who uses their MC for their daily transport.
I have used the car this week non stop and have to say
could not see myself being happy if this was my only
means of transport,fine on the motorways but torture
in traffic.Never mind still love it for what it is.

Done 17k in mine since Nov 05 with no issues at all - what do you find a problem ?

Basically the traffic in Glasgow is normally nose to tail taking all the fun out of it. :(

I really thought I was pillling on the miles far too quickly - I have done 15k since Nov '05 - but it appears I'm normal!!

Mine is used as an everyday car (pushing upto 10k per year). Clutch and first gear can be a bit of an effort if you are in some traffic but generally OK. Before I would worry about putting so many miles on the car with everyday driving and residual values, future classic car status and so on. Now I just drive it all the time because it is a car I want to keep for good.

The downside is using it as an everyday car means you start thinking all cars are like this. I had a 1 series courtesy car while an inspection 2 was carried out and I remembered what the MC gives......
