I can't seem to bring up more than two pages of posts in the general section.

Why can't I view older posts?

I have set it to 'all topics' and even tried searching for the 'last six months' function, but that doesn't work.

Any ideas?

Erm they are gone for good I'm afraid Rags.

At least if you ask your questions again you will get an up to date answer !

It is a great loss that the majority of previous postings have evapourated into cyberspace.

However, this forum is some 3 years old now and some of us members have been on here for most of that time and owned our MCs for a few years too. So, whilst the "knowledge base" held in the archives of the forum has been lost, the actual knowledge is still held by many of the members who actively participate. I'm sure that if you have a question there will be someone who can answer, or if not, at least know someone else who can help.

During our Welsh Weekend, the knowledge base of the members was further increased by two new problems occurring, that none of us had ever seen or knew about before, but as a group we've put our collective heads together and found the solution to the problems.

Although we might not have the resources of Google, as far as the M Coupe is concerned, a question asked about anything MC on this forum will invariably yield the answer you are looking for. 8)

Exdos, what were the two new problems?

One was a car that wouldn't start after we had a break after one of our runs, all the lights came on except the amber engine management light, and the starter motor wouldn't turn over, we were about to call out the RAC when it was spotted that the black plastic ring surround from arround the ignition switch was dangling by 2 wires. Once the device was replaced the car started up as normal. Obviously, this ring is part of the anti-theft system.

The other problem is that when you uprate the ARBs they soon find out if there is any wear in the front stabiliser links. The OEM stabiliser links aren't man enough for bigger ARBs, we therefore need to source a strong stabiliser link.

Second problem solved http://www.ground-control-store.com/products/description.php/II=677/CA=11

You can also make some up yourselves with some threaded bar and some rose joints.

I emailed them just before I saw this post as Steve wants some.

Great minds....

The stabiliser links for the KW suspension are about 2 inches shorter than the ones for the OEM suspension so I doubt if the Ground Control links will do the trick for Steve's and my MCs

I think I might try Nick's suggestion of making some with some thickish threaded bar. I'll get my welder out 8)

I think they might be ok but not 100% sure they say there height adjustable and id asume they were made to go with the coilover kit they make which is very similar to the KW 3s.

But im sure its not very hard to make your own.
