Hello guys
i stay looking to install a big brake kit for several fast use on mountain roads and trackdays :shiftdriv
The fact after few suggestion and thinks the brembo ,Ap racing and Movit are the best, but for the price are really excessive, consider this month i will fit a kit variante 3 + 4 michelin ps2 and spend 3000 dollars for change the front brakes seems too much!
After many search,i find the way to install the porsche caliper of 996-boxster s,but at least dont are really cheap, consider need to change also the disk brakes, whit a bigger size and the entire kit arrive to 1300$,and porsche logo on calipers...

hey Carmine
Chippy had a Willwood kit on his track car I think?!
the Stoptech kits are meant to be very good and a lot of the E46 M3 owners have put them on their cars.
there was another company who supplied brembo and Ap racing for £1200 delivered, he is based in wales.
I will try and find his details.

I have had mine fitted over 4 years now they are awesome!!
The Z3M takes the standard E36M kit straight from standard, you might need to rub down the AP log as it sticks out a bit on a fast track, over 90MPH the logo did run on the inside of my wheel a bit on hard fast cornering but after a few track days it rubbed away and its fine, in fact I find the pad usage is better on road use than the normal brake set up!

yes very good!
personally I will go Brembo over AP and not because of the price but I have been told by a reliable source that brembos are better.
I know someone with a CSL who has AP's and has had problems.
also if they are good enough for Ferrari, porsche, lambo etc then the are good enough for my MC!
If anyone is serious about upgrading please post as I will be ordering myself and may be able to negotiate a discount for quantity.

the brembo gt for 1150£ it's really low price!!
In usa, normally cost few of europe require minum 2800$!!!
a my friend owner of the shop http://www.beastpower.com/
His also live in london and official sponsor of m5board.com offer to me a good price for brembo gt,2600$ shipped and tax incluted into my home..
The brembo gt system is 332x32 2-Piece drilled or slotted disk+bracket+stainlees+pad sensor
Now his offer the same kit whit his disk for only 1800$ ?
For me seems a bit strange!
Anyway i think to get the stoptech kit
FRONT KIT: 332 x 32 mm Rotor/ 4 Piston Caliper
83-131-4600-72
RED/DRILLED
Whit a 10% of discount price for 2400$,the kit is competitive price and great quality,in usa many riders uses it on scca competition and never have problems
Anyway i wait your news if they provide a good kit for a really low price it's a great way to save a bit of money :D
Wait your news

.......
I know someone with a CSL who has AP's and has had problems.
....
I know a couple of E46 users who've had problems with AP BBKs, we've had similar binding/knock back problems on a Subaru rally car with AP brakes, but we fitted some monster (360mm front, standard size rear) APs on a CSL recently without problems.
These didn't make as much as I expected. (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Brembo-Brakes-for-BMW-E46-or-E36_W0QQitemZ280001736765QQihZ018QQcategoryZ23013Q QrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)

Well first few months on hard. fast, track cornering the AP logo did rub slightly, needed to shed a few mm, since then it has casued no problems and the pads seem to last twice as long as when it was standard!

The price of this kit seem good, but it's stay in assuie and shipping minum 200 euros :(
I see they offer the kit whit the brake disk of 351 mm,it's to much bigger for original whells,i think require minum a 18 whells
Today i oder the stoptech kit whit 332 MM drilled disk and red caliper, now need to paint red also the rear caliper, but i think it's the best color for the mine black-red interior 8)
Also a great customer service and they provide to me the 10% of discount  ,cost whit tax+shipping nearly 1800Euro
Stay tuned 8)
