Hi.

When braking from say 70 to 40mph, I get a judder through the steering wheel and an audible judder as well.

Now, I always assumed this was due to warped discs or something like that.

The discs and pads were replaced on this car in november so I am a bit annoyed if it is the discs.

Do I have any comeback with the company who fitted them?

or could it be anything else?

I had this problem on mine recently after I replaced the discs and pads with decent quality plain discs (non-floating) and DS2500 pads. They were fine for a couple of months but then I went to the 'Ring and even before I did a fast lap they started juddering which didn't go away until I got home and changed the discs (I put my old floating discs back on after a light skim). The brakes are smooth again but I haven't used the brakes very hard yet.

It could be worn front stabliser links. Have you got an uprated front ARB?
