Pad warning light came on yesterday, so it looks like its time to replace at least some of them.
Most people seem to go for red stuff over normal, so tempted to just go for those.
Is it an issue if only the fronts need replacing and I get red stuff for those with standard on the back(until they need changing).
Thanks.

i have red stuff front only on mine, redstuff are not great when cool (although when brakes are cool engine temp likely less than 60 so shouldnt be pushing it) the standard rears add a balance for an emergency when brakes are cool.
but when theyre warm and with the braided brake lines my goodness talk about bite!
I run Ferodo DS2500, these work fine from cold and seem great at high temp. Probably a bit pricier than Redstuff though.

Pagid fast road pads are good as well and a bit cheaper than the DS2500 (which I agree are excellent, but very dusty).

I can vouch for the DS2500's - have them on all 4 corners and they're dong a fine job.
