What sort of service was it, how many miles has your car done, was it a BM dealer or an Indy etc etc?

shouldnt a service II or any other for that matter be a fixed price at a dealer?

Inspection 1 at 25k miles by my local Indy £456.39 inc VAT and which includes a set of new spark plugs (normally done by BMW stealers at 100k miles only).
Why pay more :?: 8)
thats way over the top for an indy!
i would pay no more than £300 for insp1 and £450-500 for an insp2

The labour charge was actually 4.5 hours at £45 the rest was mainly oil and spark plugs. I thought the figure was quite fair.

Make sure you get a four-plus discount - this brought mine down from over £800 to £733

I still cant see why you chaps are paying that for a Ins 2 from main dealers - I and I believe others have paid only £650.00

I guess the dealers have the freedom to set their own charges so variances will inevitable occur. You could always seek out the cheapest dealer but you the have to weigh the saved cost against the extra cost, time and incovenience of travelling further.

Only paid £780 because the car at the time was under warranty and also it's the only dealership 50 miles radius

OK chaps I think you are missing what I'm driving at.
the inconsistancy between dealers with or without 4 plus scheme's is a joke!
BMW really should start to offer ///M car group discount schemes, maybe worth a try?
its not like they dont get enough money out of us!
