Once again I'm putting myself through torture to raise money for Oxfam and the Gurkha welfare trust to go towards children in Nepal. It's a 100-km run/walk over the South Downs (from Petersfield to Brighten), which I'm hoping to complete in uder 15 hours. Yes 100k, that's almost 3 marathons back-to-back over VERY undulating terrain. Last year I completed the last 30k walking on fluid shock absorbers, i.e. my feet covered in mass blisters. But once again I do it. Why, because a little suffering on my part can bring joy to thousands of young underprivileged children. Please follow the link below and give a little.

Just to let you all know that the 100k run went well. It was a scorching day but we managed to complete the event, coming a respectable 10th out of 403 teams (15h 31 min). We were also the first mixed team (two guys two girls) to cross the finish line, which was our goal. However, we didn't manage to break the mixed team record (one of the guys twisted their ankle at 30k). At least we have a target for next year.

Thanks to those that were generous in sponsoring us. It's still not to late if you fancy giving us a few pennies (seeing as we did so well), just follow the link below.

You never know, we could go under the name of ZM Coupe next year :D
