Hope so - I registered James myself earlier as he was having issues.

From his Pistonheads profile he's local to me which is bad as I have the only coupe around these parts :D

'is this for real?'

Yes i do realise there are price variants on M coupes but have set myself a target figure to pay.
I might have to wait awhile for the right one to come along. Its a buyers market out there so who knows?

Indeed I have seen none in Sheffield lurking about. They're rarer than my old R34 Skyline.

Most of us that are thinking of selling, take a while then take them out for alittle balst and think what could possibly replace it!! I think then we sellers get to wait for the right price :0)

But good luck and hope you get to join the club soon!!

I thought that too James then waited 8 months to one to appear at what I could have paid 500 quid less for, wasted time.

Wave next time ;) The guy who owns autoplates had one with SKY 1T as a plate - I guess you may have seen that too :)

Good luck on your search.

End of the day i know if a great car comes up i'll probably pay the extra. at the moment thou on trader etc there are high milers which i think are a little steep for 16-7k. Plus i like the idea of warranty when i buy the dam thing as i'm new to the vanos issue. Bought a few pups in my early years when i was a boy racer so don't want to reinvent the habit lol.

Yes i know him with the purple skyline. Legan is his name. Did my number plates a few times plus was obssessed with my car before he got one.Thats about the only R34 except another blue one like mine that lurks in the Abbeydale area but not seen it much.

Skyline is a great car but driving it 200 miles for a service was annoying and I had 2 years of driving from it. The M coupe is a driver's car(had a 95 M3 prior and great twitchy backend) and after seeing the Ghostrider video I've decided to go back to german muscle. Plus I love the looks of the car, its a future classic.: :P

the only reason i asked if it was for real was the way it was worded!

to be honest you do sound picky which is a good thing, with that in mind you will have to spend £16-17 for a mint one!

Its interesting the views on prices.

Cars are priced at 16-20k, but do not sell at these prices.

£14k isnt unrealistic, but 15-16k is what you should budget.

Yes i seen that and given the guy a ring. One person is looking at it this afternoon and he says he'll ring me back to tell me if its gone.

hes told me its done 121000 miles but fsh and was honest about the aircon unit not working. Had it 2 and a half years which isn't a bad thing. might get myself a bargain who knows. Then again if its too cheap u wonder

But as I have never let the warranty lapse etc I am not bothered about the milleage at all, in fac tI think its got a lot stronger since I got it over 6 years ago with 25k miles.

I wouldnt be put off by high milleage if the car has been looked after regardless of cost and has always had warranty and full SH

Update:- i had to ring the guy back at 4. Told me another guy is going to look at it at 6. Bit upset really as I was 2nd person to phone and told him to ring me if first guy didn't want it. So looks like I've missed out yet again.
