Hi Trundler

So I may see my old car there! If you find someone trying to fit an Audi key into the lock and trying to get in, that'll be me!

Have you still got the same number plates on her?

Enjoy the FOS - its a great event.

Cheers

Lee

Am heading there tomorrow, looking fwd to it, esp. the 'battle' up the hill between the (Pro Drive prep'd) DBR9 from Le Mans vs our works racing V8 Vantage (standard V8 Vant with minimal mod to meet reg's).
If its wet we'll be quicker ... 8)

Lee,
Not the same reg plate now, but I'll have to make sure its clean!! :D

Got back at 10:45 last night. Had a wicked day 8) 8)

Sat in the new Z4 M Coupe at the BMW stand, wasn't impressed :( How plasticy is the interior  . Just doesn't has the visual clout of the old breadvan.

Spent a while drooling over the super cars, the Prodrive concept car was there, the Shelby Coupe is just amazing and best of all the Veyron, oh baby what a machine :D

This being Goodwood I then got to watch them go up the hill, simply Car Heaven. Already planning next year's trip.

Yep Awesome day,

most amusing bit was everyone waiting for the guy in the Bugatti to start the engine and drive off,

he made a big meal out of it, checking his texts with the car door open, getting back out to do something in the boot and then letting someone take pics of the interior.

OK time to go then!

FLAT battery :D

very amusing! better call the AA!

my fave of he day being thr new GT3 or the Murci!

the guy who unexplainably crashed the spanking new 599 looked embarrased!

Also Ben needs to post the recording of the F1 car revving the national anthem :D

Was amazing! What a day!

When the Veyron would'nt start what a moment!
What did Lee do, offer a push!

To many fantastic cars to even start, the peugeot and saab concept's looked wicked!
oh and that maybach, ooooh!

The F1 car was truely awesome, being 10 foot away from it boucing off the rev limiter, most people covering there ears, wimps!

i recorded the GB anthem which the car played, that was awesome!
this is the link, but its an .amr file from my phone and all the convertors are for PC not mac

Veyron?
F1?

Pah, the wacky racers were by far and away the best!

I think the guy in the yellow 599 got a bit over excited by the occasion - he flew off the start and got it VERY sideways coming round the first bend, only to bin it about 20 seconds later (just out of my line of sight  )

I was really looking forward to seeing the new MC in the metal - I really wanted to like it, but there's just something not right about it - not enough of the 'wow' factor perhaps. However, the old 3.0 CSL Batmobile on the BMW 'M' stand.... :D

All in all though, an amazing day - it was my first time there, and I'll definitely be going back next year.
