I have a very rare set of 19" Braid alloys. These wheels are a 4-peice constructed split rim. They have a dark grey inner and a un-laquered polished aluminium outer. The aluminium outer is slightly tarnished on all the wheels. They still look great and can be polished up to as good as new with some Autosol, wet and dry paper and elbow grease.
Two of the rims have very slight dents on but you'd be hard pressed to spot them. The rear tyres are almost brand new with about 200 miles on. The rear tyres are GSD3's sized at 275/30ZR19 and cost £450. The front tyres may need replacing and are sized at 235/35ZR19.

I'm trying to find out how much these wheels retail at. When I bought the car I was told that they were purchaced for £4k! This sounds extremely high but I'm pretty sure they'd be around £2k. I should find out shortly though. They're just over a year old.

I'm selling these wheels as I worry too much about curbing them. If my car wasn't used every day I'd be keeping them.

Make me a sensible offer!

Here is one of the four peices removed showing the tarnishing of the aluminium...

What work needs to be done to fit these? Arches rolled or something more extreme?

Also, are you running standard suspension or something stiffer. I'd be a bit worried about the tyres rubbing on the body work everytime I hit a bump.

And finally...any closer to finding a cost for these? I tried the Braid site but they were no help.

Thanks

I have HR height only adjustable suspension. The wheels have never ever rubbed and I don't drive like a granny
The rears fit without spaces and the fronts have a 3mm spacer by the looks of things.
Not sure how they'd be with OEM suspension. There are a few others on the site who are running 19's so they may wish to comment on suspension setups?

No sign of the price yet though!
