Ben

We talked about this club but this week I had the cahnce to take home from Monday to Monday the following, and it has again changed my perception of cars, and what they do to us!

Started the week with the Carver One (PLEASE CHECK THE WEBSITE)

I have never ever had such a different type of passenger and every one has giggled liked a little boy, a car that lean round corners OH MY GOD!

Then I got the Caterham 260 Cosworth, dunno the full spec buty I think it does 0-100-0 in 10 secs IT DOES!! bloody hell it was the most amazing, mind altering fking thing ever, impossible to drive, especially in a suit and shoes I learned that!!

Then as Im leaving I get a special offer for the weekend in a bloody Aston Vantage, if I ever have the money to buy a new car it will be that, nuff said, it is the best, bollox enducing car ever, i have been outside now 10 times just to look at it, how can something so jaw achingingly gorgeous be from the UK!!! im soooo proud!

Will post some piccs, u gotta see the carver will make u pee ur pants, awesome!!!

Neme

Nemesis,

I've seen the Carver One on TV before and it looks cool and much fun. However, I can imagine that, like all powerful 3 wheel designs, there is an inherent instabilty at critical moments. Could you ever feel the back end breaking away as if the thing would spin around?

I like the T-Rex design where the steering is on two wheels up front and the drive is on a motorcycle rear end, but I've never driven any thing like either, but would like to try.http://www.gnorb.net/images/Campagna-T-REX-Side.jpg

VW were supposedly developing a similar type of vehicle but I believe a Journo managed to destroy one of the 2 prototypes

So Exodus the Carver was really weird, it felt totally neutral, the worst it did was on high speed leaning corners about 80-90 the front wheel started to wobble and flex, I havent ridden a motorbike fast but would imagine they do that? Grip from the rear felt immense, if anything it was set up for slight understeer!

The ASton gear change was a bit of a jolt from 1st to 2nd if you were flooring it, but to be honest I was to busy grinning like an idiot at the noise about 4500 rpm to really care, managed £70 of fuel over 170 miles, not to bad but 80 0f those were in a 40mpg average speed check zone on a motorway.

already working hte maths, what can I sell and what price might the V8 Vantage be in 1 year or two to see if I can ever ever hope to have one, doubt it :0((((((((((((((((((

I will have piccs later this week or next, where shall I post em in the gallery here?

Yes points will be gone soon and they have ordered the 911 turbo, 911 GT3, bentley continental and I think soon will order an SLK500 AMG, so will save a few.

Wierdest thing is the M5 is the most unreliable!! Trying to persudae them to get the M6 convertable, but not getting anywhere ;0) I guess wait for the vote!

I am most looking forwards to the Lambo's those two will be awesome, I just hope to have enough points left to try the F430 Spider and 360 Spider, both look and sound just amazing.

Pictures to follow, plus I think I have a great sound clip of the aston starting up, how do I post that here?

Subscribe to something like Photobucket and upload the file as a movie, then get a link for your movie and then paste the link in your thread on here.
