Well Id like to thank them for creating loads of grief for me to clean up, not that I've anything else in my life to worry about

They are banned but I am sure they will be back with other disguised names anyway.
So can we please ignore their posts when they come back. No amount of replies, insults, advice etc etc will enable them to see sense. Plus we don't want to sink to their levels.
Cheers

Like I said lets ignore such posts! B3N we have been through this so many times so there's no point is asking.

So the question still remains, did Exdos or Lee insist that the thread and banning odrer be imposed by Broccers.

My guess is that they both requested this.

The whole thing seems to bear out some of PJ's views and also seems to back up my view that if you don't run with the herd you're banned.

Expect my ban shortly, but at least let me know who requested it first.

Regards,

Neil M

Neil,

Both you and Psycho Johnson seem to have a real problem with what I write on this forum, but neither of you have ever entered into a civilised discussion with me relating to any of the stuff that I've written about. If you feel that what I've written is total rubbish then I would welcome your civilised critical comments so that together we can explore the subjects with which you disagree; we then might both learn something together and we could then share our findings with all the other members of this forum.

In order to offer you the hand of friendship (the same applies to Psycho Johnson), as a starting point, I invite you to discuss the article I posted at: http://www.z3mcoupe.com/forum2/viewtopic.php?t=3849 and explain precisely what you disagree with and give your reasons why. I do hope that you will accept my invitation, because I know you are as big a fan of the MC as me and all the other members of this forum. How about it :?:

Neil, did you see the state of the forum this morning? If I was Broccers, I would have taken action for that alone. He clearly spent a good deal of time sorting things out when he spotted what had happened.

In all honesty I had no PMs from anyone.

I logged on this morning wanting to escape from my hangover and a few personal probs reading about the car I love and spent 20 mins deleting shite. We even had threads saying 'I'm leaving' and to be fair I can't blame them altho the interweb is a big place and no-one gives a shit.

This is, and will always be, the UKs best resource on these cars and it's run by enthusiasts with the help of kind supporters like XSPerformance who contribute each month to the upkeep.

2 unhappy campers in however many years isnt bad for a free forum. :)

Simon.

Well Neil, I for one, have no axe to grind and have no previous view/opinion of you. So you're not persona non-grata as far as I am concerned, and it takes a number of active members to make a contribution to a forum. I've not be on here a long time (although I have been active on other forums for many years), but PJ/Bitch's actions this morning went just a little too far.

Can we call it to a close on that?

Hey...PJ / Bitch / Palix1...have you looked at the forums over here:

http://www.austin-rover.co.uk/

I think you'd possibly be more welcome and fit in better over there, especially in light of your recent purchase ? :D

On a serous note, there are a number of sites dedicated to the ZT260. Ive found they also have members who know their stuff ie chaps who actually developed the car so no BS from EXDOS types just real facts.

As far as the motor is concerned, for sure its not the same as an MC, but its still a fun drive and the soundtrack from the V8 is awesome. For mixed commuting and Saturday morning blasts it is far more suitabke, not to mention I can fit th kids in the back. From a handling perspective, im quite suprised how good it is for a large car, i can quite honestly say I could probably go from A to B on back roads nearly as quick as a standard MC in reality. I know in a straight line I woudl be left for dust!

Im also looking into going for a Super Charger conversion onc eI can convince wifey, which should see 400HP and about 490ftlb torque which will be entertaining.

Not to bothered that its an MGR as I never buy cars for the badge and for waht I paid for the beasty would probably have got me a 3 or 4 year old ST220 front wheel drive pile of shite.

Incidentally teh web site you pointed out is shite unless you own a metro!
