Just an idea but if it hasnt been done what about arranging a trip to where ever the creator/sponsor/designer/man to make it happen is right now for the Z3 M Coupe?

If it is at some BMW place what about trying to get as many ZM Coupes as possible to go there and just say hello!!

Lets see just how many people we could actually get interested then I will but in the calls and see if we can get an official trip to the factory or something like that, I have a few ideas on who to bug/pester for that!

Indeed it would be terribly unpolite to go all that way and not visit the ring!

So come on guys simple yes or no if you would be up for the trip

Maybe designed in Munchen----built in Spartenberg-North Carolina.
They have a Homecoming each year--maybe in September, when the 1000+ ZZzzzzzs go back to their place of creation  Some owners do a round trip of 4K miles.

just had a reply from BMW

Dear Mr. Tarrant,

The new BMW Museum is still under construction and will not open before autumn 2007 (probably November). In the meantime you could visit a BMW heritage exhibition in the Munich Olympic Park close to the TV-tower.
It is open every day from 10:00 – 20:00 hrs. A reservation is not necessary.

What about getting EVO mag to do a feature on it, they might have more clout in organising passes etc?

We could write to Harry Metcalfe the editorial director, maybe worth a try?

I visited the bmw heritage exhibition year ago, it sucks big time. So better wait for the real BMW museum.

What about visiting whilst going to Le Man. I really do want to do the ring before I go to the USA.

The ACS Showroom and factiry in Aachen is well worth a visit.

We popped in on the way back from the 'ring last August.

Phone ahead, and theyll get someon to give you a tour, they even let us in the developement room, with all the new tensions and the soon to be released "street" version of the Z4 topstar. No pics though in that room.
