There is no Neutral in flappy paddle mode so u cant rev it and then slam it into first :0( but if you do choose M and tweak all the settings to be the most hardcore you can get the rear to light up WITH traction on, so I will turn all the traction stuff of tomorrow and see what happens ;0)

As for meets Im afraid I am going to Macnhester tomorrow with some mates to watch the England Game, I coulnd have had the Ferrari F430 Spider for the same points :0((((((((((((((((( gutted but 4 mates and two seats in a ferrari dont go, they all sooooo owe me a beer.

Good news is the Porker (11 Turbo should be here in a few weeks so I will have that soon ;0)

Let you all know how the BMW goes...

BTW a few early gripes, the seats have like 50 combinations, press a wrong button as I did coming out of london and I hit a preset and the seat shot right back, reclined to prone and then lifted up, so as I was gripping to wheel as the seat went backwards it then crushed my head ont he roof, I think I helped raise spirits in the traffic tho ,everyone seemed to be pissing themselves, that was after I drove 8 miles in first as I hadnt worked out how to select normal auto!

Oh and a major plus point is the colour its sepang a bronze colour, I used to call it enema brown, I hated it, but with the M5 and those wheels it just works!

It also adjusts the reach and height of the steering wheel, you can imagine how that helped compliment the seat issue.

Oh and just after that I found out you can adjust once you have chosen one of three heated seat settings you can adjust wheter you would like the front of your legs, your arse, lower back or upper back to heated more, WTF!! Oh and also I really couldnt decide after setting the external lights to stay on for 43 seconds how long the internal lights should stay on? WTF again!!

And, AND wtf would I want to engage pure M sport mode and then think oh actually I dont want the 'normal' traction on but I want something hmm lets make u p something and call it something stoopid which actually is the same as traction being on but occasionaly when the puter thinks its safe will let me think its off again with the WTF!

But still awesome car and as for the brakes bloody hell I thought my AP conversion was good in terms of feel and bite, and then there is the agressive gear change, would snap the neck of a budgie if you had one in the car!

Well i expect the trip to manchester in this beast will be an adventrue in its self things just seem to happen to me, I will report back!!

Oh Borccers I have some great piccies of the Lambo Murcialago in the Isle of Wight with another ZM Coupe (actually he took the piccies) where can I put them for all of your perusal?

The indicators that hide behind the flappy paddle and are squashed between the steering wheel adjuster button and the crusie control stalk...

They dont actually click to one position or antoher you move them up or dowb, depending on how hard you click up or down they will either flash 3 times for lane cahnge or indicator, BUT THEY DONT SELF CANCEL! So after a bit you realise the right indicator is on, you flick the stalk down, now it indicates right! you realise this a few seconds later and click it up and now it indicates right arrrrghhh!!! everyone around me on the A40 is flashing or waiting back, confused thinking here is the cock of all driver is the ultimate 5 series and he is pissing with us by not only indicating but every 5 seconds changing the direction he will go, I am sure I caused a tailback!

WEll done BMW hhhmmpph!

Ben

In one world fantaboulous! Okay so that isnt a word but bloody hell THe murcielago was fast, the TVR bonkers and the Caterham 260 bonkers but this! 3 up boot not even 1/3 full and it ripped the motorway up, managed to get an average 7mpg the whole trip, that was the bad part but I would do it again tomorrow. On the motorway and dual carriageways overtaking as like playing a video game! The ferocity of gear changes once the M button is pressed was nothing short of ridiculous, fun ridicoulus mind! handling for such a big car was just stoopid it should go round corners with all the traction off that well under full power, the noise was fantastic.

In short I would sell my ZM for one, probably get flamed for that but its true

Oh only bad thing was it needed a litre of oil in Manchester as it had drunk it all by then! And the Sat Nav failed jsut as I came off the motorway and needed it and DVD player got jammed, but sod all that WHAT A CAR!
