So, since it is the start of a new year, shall we attempt to beat the Donny record of Z3M's at a meet?

I'm definately up for a few meets this year, obviously the nearer to Surrey the better ;)

Brands Hatch is quite local and I believe they have a track of some sorts there ;-)

The biggest "meet" I've been to so far was the Donington Trackday where quite a few of us booked on track and several others came to meet up and spectate. I think this would be a good basis for another meet, sometime in the summer or something?

How about a trip upto Norfolk I travel down to Shepperton a couple of times a week and the roads are lovely (with exception to the last bit on the M25) however over a weekend would be good and Snetterton is a great track I'm happy to make enquiries alternatively we have some great pubs with huge space??

Or even better great pub by Lotus and if anyone has been on that road it's immense!!! :twisted:

Offical number was 67, only place I've seen it in print recently is in Member Gallery page 4, Jay has copy of small entry in BMWCC mag. Nessamot 11 has special picture of all 67 mc in a line. Plus there is the Donnie pics gallery.
I think it was the special feeling of support for the two Z3MC racing cars that was the rallying point, brilliant day. Hawthorn Racing made us all really welcome in the pits.
Be great if something similar could be organised, the location was ideal. Read the BMWCC article Edinburgh and Cornwall being the extremes drivers came from.
I was in a small concoy of 5 x mc from up North which was an absolute hoot, the 22 car Southern one (that must be a record) would have been brilliant. The full car park at Donnie Services was a sight to behold. Plus someone, who I can't remember, got a "Spotted" - 67 x Z3mc in the forum.
All thats needed is an event to focus on preferably, although not necessary, with some BMW content.

At the moment we have I think 49 members on the roll call so obviously other 550+ owners don't bother with the internet or hang around somwhere esle. If the latter is the case then we need to find out where.

A few of us had a hand in it - a mass email always tends to highlight an event and increase numbers (seems to be bust at the mo tho along with the ability to add smilies).

They stopped making them in 2002 :-P I know what you mean though, usually get more owners using the internet over the years and also as t hey get cheaper a younger ownership age more likely to use the forums.

Saw the MCoupe at the Autosport show that competes in the Britcar championship the owner / driver said he would be racing at Silverstone in March. Might be a good time and place to meet and support him racing.

Are you refering to my signiture pics? They are just taken after a quick clean and polish, nothing special at all. Also they are taken on a camera phone on a dull winter day so not the best quality and light settings :shock:
