Thinking about taking the plunge and buying a Z3 M Coupe.
Any tips on whether to go for a specialist dealer (know any good ones?) or private sale (where good ones are listed)?
Also, what are the things to look for when buying that will come back and bite in garage bills? Get the impression that they are well put together but any car thats 98/99/2000 has got to be getting the point where there could be big jobs coming.

you won't be disappointed. Just like any car the newer the better. There are various threads dealing with good dealers.

Munich Legends usually have 1-3 available and give good backup.

Scour the forum and you will get the gist of what to look for.

IMO there is not much difference in price between a base example and a really good low mileage one. £14,000 up to £21,000.
