BEN,
Do not like the idea of being minibussed around Brands Hatch and then having to stay inside their cones - I've been there twice before. Reminds me of the 'Thruxton Experience''.

I want to do a few minor trackdays in the meantime BUT there are a few majors left (booking up fast)

The Spa day on Tuesday 9th October which you mentioned.
Before that, other days (or alternatives) I fancy are:
Monday 13th Aug Le Mans Bugatti circuit £259 (is the Bugatti bit any good - I have never been there?)
Mon or Tue 20/21 Aug Spa £225
Mon 17 Sep Donington £185 (BMW CSL/M Power track day with Sabine giving rides)
Wed 19 Sep Brands Hatch GP circuit £229 (the last one of the 3 GP trackdays this year)

Apologies for shouting but
ANYBODY SERIOUSLY INTERESTED?

As for a megameet, it would have to be a Saturday or a Sunday

Not sure what you mean?
They do ask people that haven't driven on the track before to go around it in the back of a minibus, to see the lines etc, then you do a sighting lap behind a marshalls car to get an idea of the track.

The only cones i saw were the ones set on the corners to help let you know where the braking and turn in should be

Manty,
cones placement at Brands Hatch may be more generous but at Thruxton they took most of track away and you ended up worrying about hitting the cones because they were so intrusive.

Don't care for being minibussed around - following a guide car, yes, which I think is more instructive.

I'd definitely be up for one of these two. Donington is probably a bit less painful for me to get to.
