No, put your best costumes back in your wife's wardrobe.

I've been meaning to take my car to a 1/4 mile day for ages but never got round to it. August 4/5 at York will be the weekend if anyone fancies popping along as we will be there having a few runs while supporting a mate with his Hillman Avenger proper dragster.

Anyone up for it ? Should be a grin.

Broccers,

That sounds great. Only live about 40 miles or so north of there so would be a nice local venue for me. Doubt I'll be having a go in mine but the drive down and the day out with some other owners would be great.

Hopefully if Petecossie, Ever88 and few other "northeasteners" are up for it it could be a nice drive down.

Are you there both days?

Guys,

I'll deffo be there on the Saturday, the plan is to do some runs, camp and get very drunk but you know how the summer is going upto now !

If you do want to have a go you'll need both parts of your license and a lid.

I'll try and get over to join you if we've got nothing else planned. Not sure about having a run though - last time I did quarter miles at Elvington it all went a bit Janice Long in the engine department.

Two chaps from e30zone were there, Andy in a E30 sport with 3.2 engine - vid in main forum - and his friend with a 3.0 M3 E36. I'm not too sure about the latter but the 3.2 was the same time as mine. I beleive it has a 6 speed box and changed ration rear diff. Hopefully they'll pop in here and say hi. Was good to meet them both. :coolgleamA:
