Hi Chris,
Forget it.
There is a guy I know based in guildford who will come out to anywhere and do the dents.. He did 7 on a few cars for me for 70 quid.
Spent 4 hours!
He is called Olly and is a magician, seriously.

Chris, I have one 'double dent/keyed job' and a few scrapes. SO, would be interested in a joint repair at either Guildford or your way, which might make it more worthwhile for the guy. Let me know, David.

Is it worth while sticky'ing contact details of recommended people such as this. So as to make it easier for people to look up what they want.
Just a thought

Funny, I suggested this about 12 months ago and nothing came of it.
So based on past experience, I wouldn't hold your breath

Chris H and I had our dents sorted today. Cost was £65 per panel dent. Ollie was meticuloushttp://www.z3mcoupe.com/forum/images/icons/icon14.gif. On one minor dent alone he spent 1 and 1/2 hours tapping away on top and underneath until everything was reconfigured and as new.
He also gave me the numbers of two local people he recommends (based in SW London/Surrey) who do a good job on scrapes/minor repaint jobs.
Joe Paint FX 07768 291154 (less expensive but not totally reliable about turning up on time)
Justin Chips Away 07770 470463 (full price and reliable)

Hear hear. I had a awkward dent the size of a palm where the panels flare out over the rear wheels. Now completely as new. Thanks to Rags for the tip - highly recommended for anyone in the london/surrey area.

A couple of videos i found ages ago to help / remove small car dents... May be of use to someone...
Air Duster & hair-dryer Technique

Dry Ice Technique (http://www.metacafe.com/watch/494805/remove_car_dents_with_a_dry_ice_block_www_mastrik_ com/)

Just to confirm that Olly is still removing dents and still doing a fantastic job - he spent over three hours painstakingly removing every little supermarket ding from my doors and they are now perfect.
You don't realise how much a few little dings spoil the car until you see it without them. Top recommendation, thanks!
ha ha I should be on commission!

How much did it cost?
Someone has hit my passenger, probably in a car park. I'm gonna polish it tomorrow to make sure there's no paint damage, then get repair quotes. As my car's got some very very small car-park dings on both doors I may as well get them done at the same time.

As per earlier post, £65 per dent. He brings the metal back to its original position/shape as new, but does not do the paintover, which may or may not be required.
The other 2 references were to people who can do the paint job to match and blend in with existing. Still haven't got around to arranging that yet.

Well of course - it's better than that as it's £65 per panel regardless of the number of dents! My doors had dozens of dents and he did every one perfectly - he also did the famous 'filler cap' dent as a freebie!

i've just had all the dents removed from both doors, about 3 large dings and about 8 smaller dents at a cost of £40 for both doors, the doors now look like new again. work done by "gary the dent man 07974 439492" he covers south manchester/cheshire area and is based in woodford.
