I've read some articles from various places including one supposed interview with some top BMW chap who was hinting at the V8 from the M3 being used in the Z4 M coupe.
This would surely be an amazing car - its pretty quick as it is and from what i've read the V8 isn't any heavier than the S54 so won't adversely affect the handling.
Anybody heard anything about this - I'm not sure if I believe it or not. However if you had told me they would put the S54 engine in the Z3 M coupe I would have been sceptical but it happened.
