BMW Leeds
Told me parts (5 new M badges) were in and took day of work to take the car down however when I arrived bodyshop manager told me they had forgotton to order 2 of them and I owuld have to bring it back. Bit annoying especially when taken time off work however really nice girl and did not charge me for fitting them and also agreed to touch up small paint blister behind kidney grills and stone chips on bonet for nothing.

I've heard a few stories about the Leeds dealer, good and bad. I can't get over the prices they charge though.
I use BMW Care in Stanningley. Customers seem to be happy and they were recommended to me by a few people. Inspection II was under £400 and car feels like it's running good again which is what matters.

It was to fit a AC Schnitzer Racing Wing and Front Flippers and they were only £200 more than local bodyshops Ive used before but chose them because of the 12months warranty with the work and colour of the paint. Dakar Yellow is even worse than silver cars to match and has to be build up with thin layers slowly over number of days to get desired finish. They had it for 4days in total and really impressed. Ive used Craamag in Guiesly (bit expensive, and will not give a definate quote before starts work) and B+N / P+N over at Keighley (Pretty resonable and everytime ive been has couple of M Coupes in, so must be doing something right). Would be interested in number of guys in Stanningley if you have it as not too bothered about using main dealer now have started to replace OEM with subtle mods. Cheers Alex

take it all back, they are useless, got car back after there 3 attempt to paint rear AC Schnizter. It is covered in air holes and has thick run lines all over it. Manager said it would not cover and it was due to poor metal quality that AC Schnitzer use and that it just absorbed the paint. They were meant to take four days slowly building up the paint but they were still rushing it when I picked it up. I think they got fed up and the last coat was just a rush job with a really thick overspray. They have said they will take it back and flat it down and repspray but the paint is so thick it looks like a ripple effect on a pond. Also they were meant to paint individual bits of it spereatley then assemble but have assembled it and then painted so joint marks and bolt holes are filled with paint. Sorry about rant but really expect more and would expect more from small cash in hand body shop. Anyone else had a bad experience with BMW Leeds?
