It's the annual trackday organised by the BMW Car Club. Used to be at Silverstone GP Circuit but cost has become prohibitive, so now at Doningtonhttp://www.z3mcoupe.com/forum/images/icons/icon7.gif

There will be one or two new M3s and the new Alpina B3 Biturbo on show. Hopefully, Steve Soper doing a few laps in the new V8 M3 showing what it can do. Sabine (the Nurburgring 'taxi driver') giving prebooked tuition in your car.

Only available to BMWCC members at the moment but if anyone here is interested then post. They may open it up next week if there are any spaces left.
Members price £185 + £30 passenger + £50 tuition.

Whilst I appreciate this is a special club event I just can't see how anyone would bother paying £185 for a Donny day when you can have a day with Donny themselves for £139 or even £105 during the winter, £20 per passenger and ARDS Instruction for £35:

Don't they make that from the Club Membership fee? Other car clubs I've been members of (PSOOC for example) subsidise events to offer better value to their members... I guess this is just something to get used to when it comes to the more expensive ownership of BMW's :crazy:

I'd like to do it, but have booked meself on the Brands GP circuit on the 27th September instead.

Is Sabine going to be driving your car then? Thats gotta be worth getting someone to video as she powerslides around donny ;-)

EDIT - Tim Harvey now doing the driving; Sabine is doing some 'filming' that day now - never mind. I'll bet it's one of those fat chequebook Top Gear people who have made her a better offer.
