Hi there.

Would anyone be able to help me with some answers to a few questions?

I am really interested in buying an M Coupe but just want to be sure i can afford it.

There are two cars i like the look of on Piston Heads at the moment...

I am in a bit of a dilemma on whether to spend the extra money for a low mileage one in the hope that it will have less problems in the future or whether to go for the higher mileage one and have some money in reserve in case of any problems.

There is no doubt the more expensive one looks really nice in the photos and sounds great but i am not sure if this is still a bit pricey for a 99 reg car??

Any help would be most appreciated, have loved these cars for ages and finally got the cash available to get one.

The newer one states Hartge upgrades, but doesn't say what they are !?! Also it states it has a 325 bhp engine which is the S54 figure not the 321bhp of the S50. Maybe the hartge upgrades gave it the extra 4bhp?

Also the higher miled one has cruise control which I think is ded handy for long journies.

Personally I wouldn't be too hung up on the age or mileage, as long as the car has been properly maintained it should be fine.

If you're interested in both, then I'd view both and see which one you prefer :thumbsup:.

Agree with Jules 82k is nothing if the car has been serviced properly and on time.

Looks like a good price especially if he has reciepts for the 4k of recent work that it mentions in the add.
