Very very good price Lee, almost tempted myself, but got to be sensible for while unfortunately! Should sell pretty quickly at this time of year I would hope.

So is the GT2 more than a pipe dream now?

                  Hi Rags,

I wanted to keep my turbo and put bigger turbos and suspension on it but a very good deal came up on something else otherwise I would have stayed put.

Moving this way is kind of kills a few birds with the same stone.

                  Keep you posted.

Are you going away from a 911 or getting something like a GT3 that is more suited to track and good on the road too?

Chris, I dont think I would want to move away from a 911.

Its a GT2, so a very similarly setup car suspension and brakes wise to the GT3 and same engine but with the added bonus of two big turbos at the back to compliment.

The problem is finding one which has not been backwards through a wall/fence/hedge.

Because of the limited numbers it can make it hard work but I have found one which has been paint depth tested and looks good.

                      The deal is in progress.

Swiftautocare in sheffield have one in gunmetal, 2004 I think, it is a Mk2. Had it for a longtime so might want to do a deal.

They seem to know their onions ... give Jase a ring http://www.swiftsperformance.co.uk/ if you need an option.

Its not easy buying a GT2.

A guy I know has been looking for 6 months and part of his process was to:

                          check service history
                          visually check the car
                          HPI

if this checks out then he would arrange the following:

                          111 point Porsche inspection
                          Paint depth test on panels

he has spent over £2k trying to find the right one and looked at many cars up and down the country.

                          Most have had paint/panels.

This one has been paint tested and has come through clean.

fortunately for me I got to this one first
