Has anyone had any issues creating a folder in the gallery recently?
Can't see any prompt like 'create folder' or anything. I've logged out of the forum page to clear my cookies and logged into the Gallery and just keeps saying invalid login :confused5:
Just wondering if I'm missing something obvious (more than likely, it is Sunday and naturally my brain is in shut down mode!)
cheers.

Err, yeah. I must confess that I don't really know! I think that the logins for the gallery are completely separate from those from the forum, so you need to sign up for an account with the gallery rather than trying to use your forum details.
I'm travelling at the moment, but let me know if you're still having trouble and I'll investigate properly when I get back.

Ok so I decided I might upload some pics to the gallery..... did the usual search to find out how, followed the instructions.....
As I understand it I have to log in seperately, however when i click on the register section in the gallery it just takes me to my user profile. If I try to log into the gallery with my user name and password for the site it doesn't like it.
What am I doing wrong :smash::shocked::dupe:

I had a quick look at this this morning, but couldn't make much sense of it. I don't really understand how it's meant to work - I just copied it across from the old site as it was.
It looks like there's supposed to be some integration between gallery accounts and forum accounts, but it doesn't work very well: I find that my account on the gallery has the same username but a different password.
I'll have a proper look this evening.

Finally got round to looking at this properly.
It turns out the the gallery accounts are integrated with forum user accounts. Just not this forum's user accounts. :rolleyes5:
It was in fact trying to use the user accounts of the old forum software which we must have moved away from a year ago - if not, two. Thanks to the somewhat braindead way in which the integration works, switching it over was not trivial, and I now know far more than I wanted to about the inner workings of the gallery software.
Anyway, it should all be fixed. If you're a confirmed user on the forum (i.e. you've posted at least once) you should be able to log into the gallery and upload photos.
It's entirely possible that I've broken stuff along the way, so let me know if anything is not working as it should.
