Afternoon gents,
apologies if this is a regular question, I had a glance through previous posts but ddn't see anything.
Does the 'traffic light' indicator just count down the time when an oil change is due, OR does it count down when an inspection is due aswell as oil?
If it counts down the time for an oil change how do you know if it needs an inspection 1 or 2? Refer to the service book?
By my reconning I'm due for an inspection 2 in the next month based on milage since the last one, and I have access to free high quality oil so I change it every couple of months (I may have the cleanest oil of any MC?).
Should I reset the service indicator every time I change oil?
Any clarification of the whole inspection / oil service indication would be much appreciated.
