This weekend I've re-discovered this button. So long as you're not in traffic and you've learnt the already sensitive throttle, pressing the sport button can really put a smile on :yesnod:
Previously I'd discared it as useless, but with a bit of practice there's fun to be had. :driving:
So am I on my own here, or have I just been slow on the uptake?

Its the first thing I do when I get in the car. Dont know why but Id feel I was cheated out of a 'sport button' mile if I did not!

I have a mental sport button that I can't turn off. Makes my driving pretty ragged sometimes :-p

I very rarely use it, it wasn't until I was told on another forum that I found out it makes the DSC less sensitive.

I don't like it on the CSL, find it makes the throttle too aggressive, especially on bumpy roads, but believe it makes the induction bark kick in a little earlier, so it does have its uses ;-)
Lee - you seem to have got used to the CSL pretty quickly, have you had SMG before and what do you think of it out of interest?

Not sure who started rambling about CSLs, this was posted in the Z4MC section, hence the Sport button on the modern version!!
And yes it does change the way DSC operates.:yesnod:

Yeah come on guys, Z4MC section only!
As its such a busy and popular section it doesn't need comments about another other cars no matter how similar!
Maybe we should have a CSL section !:cornut:

Indeed I'm struggling to keep up with posts as it is without bloody M3 drivers posting in here too. Where are the Mods when you need them.

Maybe a Skoda section too. With you around that'd be more popular than the Z3MC board.
