There's an old thread here for CPC in Uxbridge http://www.z3mcoupe.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2452 but they've moved since 2006 I guess.

Now in Chenies just off the M25 at Jct 18. http://cpcpe.com/index.html

Went to get a second opinion on some of the new noises on my car and met Graham first then Phil later in the morning.

Reassuring that they know the model well (there were two there already - one is Ashley's engine rebuild I believe) and they regularly service about 25 of them.

Pricing was competitive, very knowledgeable and I got to see what Graham was doing and he was happy to explain the steps he was taking. Very pleased with the service so thumbs up from me

Yeah thats my car, been there since august now! Did you notice whether he's done anything to it yet? Feels like a lifetime waiting for it to be done.

Bummer - long time to be without the car. Phil mentioned he was looking at it again that afternoon after I'd gone - seemed they were having a Z3MC day as they had an Estoril up on the ramp as well as mine going in for a quick diagnostics check. IIRC the exhausts weren't visible from the rear (so assume they'd done some work underneath?) and there was a warning notice not to start the car as it risked engine damage

Yeah the recovey people wrote that on the screen when it broke down in cornwall:frown2:. It was a sorry sight seeing it towed away knowing i'd have to make my own way back to East Anglia. Oh well it will be done when its done i wouldn't want my car with anybody else.

Hope your car isnt too serious.

Phil and Graham are great honest guys that have a passion for what they do with great knowledge and experience to back that up.

Your engine was in the workshop waiting for strip down last time I called in, I think that was around three weeks ago now. It's a large amount of work rebuilding one of these engines, but I'm sure it'll be completed soon enough:yesnod:

I went over today to see my car still very slow progress unfortunately bottom end still not stripped down but been told it will be done next week?
Petevito that must of been your car i was looking at (t reg) with the rocker cover off, i presume they were doing your valve clearances. Your car is certainly in the right hands with those guy's as long as your in no rush
I had my wheels done by pristine earlier this year and i was very impressed with them.

Just got my car back from CPC after having quite a bit of work done on it - new top-mounts, diff mount, front brake discs/pads/ns caliper, handbrake shoes, braided clutch cable etc. Wallet is now £1600 lighter, but then again I dread to think what a stealer would have charged!

The guys at CPC know their stuff and take the time to run over what they have done and discuss any problems with you. Can't recommend them enough.

I'll grant you they're not the fastest out there, but they do do a good job. I know Phil has had a few problems recently so has not been in as much as normal.

Phil called me today and said the pistons should arrive tomorrow and then he's gonna get on with it, he reckons it will take a couple of days to build the engine up. So hopefully my wait will soon be over :hurray:
Phil also explained he's had a few problems recently and i understand why ive had to wait a while.
