Hello all,
Just taken my late (Oct)1998 Estoril Blue MC (owned by me since late 1999) out of garage storage after 7 years and did a 'staggering' 54 miles in it yesterday which rocketed it's total mileage covered to 9743! Yes, I know it's criminal not to use it much but I bought it to keep as a potential future classic. I also know that it's a weird time of year to put it back on the road but I needed to move it from where it was stored. I'll run it for a week or so, before the roads are salted and then put it away until the Spring.
One slight shock was that whilst in storage, some dumbo had crawled across the bonnet and left a big dent which was made worse by a feeble attempt to push it out. Anyone got a spare bonnet for sale please?
