The hire of a long wheelbase transit flat bed , a return tunnel - ferry cost and a few tanks of diesel , that's what I would do .

The seller is listing most of the other panels which all look to be undamaged so maybe the car had a engine failure?

Could it be he started a job he couldn't finish and used the evergreen paint he bought on his van instead (see background) ? :-)

PS: In all seriousness, I've got a secret soft spot for the evergreen M Coupe. It would be third on my list after black and imola. There - I said it. I'll take the consequences. :-)

I don't think there's a cheaper way to get it back , you may be able to catch a haulage company with an empty truck for a return load if you ring around ?

I reckon £300ish would see that back in the country , trailer or truck hire and a cheap day return on the tunnel .
