  • ACS Type III wheels

    Good morning everyone

I have seen a nice set of the above wheels in the following size and my question to the forum is what if any spacers/mods would I need to fit them on my car, and also people's feelings about 19 inch rims on the car in general.

    Many thanks

    The size is:-

    Front wheels are 19x8.5. ET43.

    Rear wheels are 19x9.5. ET21.5.

Most people hate 19" wheels on M Coupes personally I love them ,

The wheels sizes you show were available new from BMW dealers and ACS and came with 7mm front spacers and 20mm rear spacers to give the correct offsets for the M Coupe.

You may need to trim the front wheel arch liners but it varies depending on tyres fitted and suspension

The more I look at wheels I am drawn to cars that are running 19"

Any ideas if et30 10.5 rears and et30 9.5 fronts would work and which spacer size that would be required if they would ?

          sorry for the thread hijack

The rear would work with spacers (20mm spacer though).

The front I think it just a bit too wide, it would probably work if the front top mounts were swapped to tuck the wheel in though. Without a spacer it should *just* clear the strut. As an example, I run a 9J ET45 rim with a 10mm spacer (ET35 effective) and with top mounts swapped there is only a few mm between rim and strut so a large rim protector would probably bind. They are not flush though to the arch, so the additional width of 6mm and 5mm lower offset it might sit ok.

              ok that's cool cheers,

I'll make sure 8.5 is as wide as the front get then, I would hate for trouble with clearance.

I am pretty tempted to get Bola TX304, the hartge C reps. I have the Bola BBS RS reps on my e30 and the quality is really top notch.

Ive not seen a zed with the hartge C wheels on it yet
