  • Anybody know this car?

I'm in the market for a circa £20k car (which is a tough place to be right now!). It seems my options are limited to CatD write offs and high millers.

I'm potentially interested in this car.

It looks great in the photos. I understand it has a good service history and has had 9 owners.

Obviously the best thing to do would be to view it but I'm in Scotland. If anyone on here knows anything about it I would be most obliged.

    Thanks!
    Jack

        Hi Mate,

I don't know the car, but at a quick glance the grill is wrong, the wheels are a strange matt finish and it's been lowered. Obviously stereo is replacement too, but that's no surprise tbh.
I'm not saying this as a criticism, just to give you some heads up info in case you don't already know.
I can't see any history mentioned in the ad, I'd want to know about that before investing any more time in it.

        Cheers,

        D.

Thanks for the pointers. Nice to see it has been enthusiast owned. Somewhat shocked by the rate these have appreciated! When that was for sale in 2014 I couldn't afford the £9k for one and bought a Honda S2K. The Honda i still have and has appreciated nicely but nothing like the coupes! I wish I had been less sensible and borrowed money at the time.

I have only just started looking at coupes again in the past few weeks. I think I will sit back for a bit and watch the market for a while. Just hope things don't shoot up too quick!

A lot of good history on the forum, and by the look of it owned by a few forum members, with today's prices in mind, looks like a good car, (in my opinion)

            Good luck with your search
