  • S50 MCoupe For Sale

    Hi All,
As with most posts of this type on the forum I didn't think this day would come but after weeks of deliberation and some sleepless nights I've got as far as writing this thread. Heart versus head, I know I'll eventually regret it, but I've decided to sell my MCoupe.

I’ve had the car for 4 very enjoyable years and it wants for nothing. It’s covered 35,700 miles, has a full service history (16 stamps in the book), a folder full of receipts totaling over £18K and every MOT certificate dating back to 2005. It was MOT’d in April with no advisories and has covered less than 100 miles since.

The bodywork is in fantastic condition as are the mechanics.

The cars has had 5 owner (inc me) and its got a few subtle modifications that together make it that little bit unique:

    Polybushed Bilstein Sprint Suspension
    Supersprint Stainless Exhaust
    3.46 Diff
    Lightweight flywheel and Uprated Clutch
    Quick Shift Kit
    Schrick 284 cams
    Simota Filter Kit
Stainless Steel Brake and Clutch Hoses
    H&R Anti Roll Bars
    S54 Dark Chrome Alloys
    AC Schnitzer Front Flippers
    AC Schnitzer Roof Spoiler
    AC Schnitzer Pedal Set

I’ve a couple of dealers offering to SOR the car and suggesting a return to me of c£30K, but I’m undecided and may advertise it privately. If there’s anyone on the forum interested, then please PM me and I’d be happy to fill you in on all the details.

Great spec - some spacers would make that a perfect setup :)

After viewing some mixed reviews on the potential SOR dealerships I've decided to advertise privately. Advert will be on Pistonheads later today :crying:

Can't see any on PH or AT currently for sale privately, so we'll see how it goes.

There's hope for selling a modded car yet!!

Cracking car though and all the better for being modded in my eyes! If your going to buy one you might as well buy one that better than the original 😜

With the quick sale I just hope it has gone to an enthusiast and not an opportunist.

It is indeed a great spec. car and some really good improvements over standard. These cars really benefit from modifications ( particularly suspension) and if I was looking again now I would certainly chose this over a standard one! Would have saved myself a small fortune

Would love to know how much difference the Cams make? I think this car has ARP bolts and a raised rev limiter too.....

                        Sold!

Mixed feelings as I got what I was asking for, but had this sick feeling in my stomach as it went off the driveway!

Trader bought it so I expect it'll appear again in the not to distant future at an inflated price.

I hope the next owner has as much fun as I did and if they're reading this thread in the future and want to PM me for any info, please feel free.

It was nice knowing you all and you never know, I may be back
