  • Uprated gear lever bushes now ready!

    Hi guys

I am pleased to announce that the uprated gear lever bushes have now been machined and ready to go. I have put together a package of all the necessary washers/bushes from BMW with our uprated part to allow you to get that gearchange feeling as sharp as possible. Coupled with our steel gearknob you should have a totally transformed gearchange.

    see HERE

Will this help the return of the gear stick to the centre position? As an example, when moving my lever to the right and letting go of it, it doesn't always return.

        Does that make sense?

Will your kit sort this problem?
        Out: 99 S50 Titan Silver V876 KKO
        In: 98 S50 Estoril.......

Really depends on the root cause of the problem. If this is being caused by some worn bushes then yes the kit will help however if it is due to a more internal issue with the g/box then its another story. Either way, replacing the bushes and washers will improve the gearchange anyway.

Is there a discount for those who have already purchased a knob from you already?

There's nothing wrong with the gear changes as such, it's just when "waggleing" the gear lever it's a bit sticky when moving it to the right.

For example when in 5th...If I take it out of gear, the stick does not move instantly back to the central position...Does that make any sense?

So anyone bought a set of these yet? Was going to get them but then reading they are a bit of a PITA to fit and that mine's only done 37k miles I wonder if I really need to bother changing the bushes?!
