  • Electric Window Stopped?

My passenger side electric widow has suddenly ceased to function.

The drivers side works fine and obviously the duse is good so I'm pretty sure its getting power.

When I operate the switch I can hear a click from within the door, but no movement.

Any idea if this is a shagged motor or regulator?

    Cheers
    Tom

Could be the motor or the regulator jammed!

Open the door and use the flat part of your hand when making a fist to gently bang around the door card as it sounds like its more sticky then broken - worked for me last time!

            Cheers guys.

This was the side of the car that had a bump recently and was replaced, so it should be all new internals, I wonder if something has just come loose.

I'll poke around in my days off midweek.

            Cheers

Having just replaced my locking actuator,i can assure you that to remove the doorcard so you can have a vada inside is very easy!i would suggest you this before banging anything, just take care when removing the card so as to not tear the door card from the clips!

The man has a very good point - bash them with your fist instead if they don't fix it!
