Simota

Hi.
Some months ago, I've bought an used (like new) Simota cai on this forum, and now my friend is installing it on my ZM.
Did you have any problem installing the Simota?
My friend have installed it today on my ZM, but it isn't simple; it doesn't fit like in this pic http://www.evo-s.co.uk/shop/index.php?cPath=6_2066_2067 . I had to install it turned of 90°, the "Simota" tag isn't visible, it is turned on right.
On the packet is written that it is for a Honda, is it correct?

It should fit. On my simota box is a sticker that says:
CF610-25
BMW Z3 M COUPE

I don't have here the box, but I'm sure that the sticker don't says Z3 M!
It is written something else like Honda .....

I hope I don't have to throw it away and to buy another one :-(

Now my Simota is installed, so I'll keep it installed but I'd like to know if I've bought the right Simota or if there was a problem with the seller.

I recall that my Simota box had Mazda written on it as well as BMW. I will take a look and see if I still have the box to make sure but think I dumped the box when I moved house last year. Got mine from Evo s

The box should have a sticker that says CF610-25 like MrMicko has said. Ignore what the boxes have written on them - they are a bit random! The smooth side should be at the bottom and the side with the little bump at the top - maybe the Simota sticker is on the wrong side?

It is the Simota Carbon Air Intake system.

when i fitted mine it was a tight fit it looks like it should go upside down but it doesnt i contacted maahny and he sent me some flexi rubber and it fitted better
