No its not mate, S54 fule rail is 1" higher than the S50!

It really depends on the clearance of your strut you have?

Strong strut/etech are weapons of choice with the S54, make the most of the good exchange rate!

E-Tech doesn't fit the S54. All the StrongStrut range do though.

Another silly question on this

Do they make a differance, or do they just look nice?

Oh i thought they did, I have gone strong strut on mine.

Cosmo racing also do one but there are a few stories of clearance problems.

They really do work. It's the best first mod to do, but be warned, once you start improving the handling a little, you'll want to keep going.......

Indeed,
got my front Strong Strut 18 months ago. Now the warranty has expired and can't be invalidated, the December list of ordered items goes on and on - H & R this and that, Bilsteins, Whiteline, BBS, Toyo R888s, etc, etc. Don't understand a word of it but, as Exdos says, once you start .........

On a serious note, the front strut, all on its own, really does make a big difference to understeer. 'It's the best first mod to do'.
AND so easy to fit - I paid a BMW garage £65 to fit mine but 99% of people could fit one very quickly with something called a torque wrench apparently.

Arghhhh, I thought the H&R ARBs were the best first mod, and that my car was complete when I had fitted those 8-)

My MR is garaged for the winter, so there is no urgency for the brace. I am sure I will be heading south in Feb or March and so can pickup in person.

tell me! I could have sold this 10 times over!

I should not have put it up so cheap to be honest but thats my problem.

also I did not know that there was a difference between the s50 and s54 brace.
