  • Brake pads - which ones for standard discs?

What brake pads do people recommend for the standard discs?

Anyone know what viscocity brake fluid is used by BMW?

There's alot of threads about discs and pads about.

EBC Yellow Stuff pads, plus a good dot 5 fluid and braided lines work well.
Oem discs are good for this set up. And a bit of cooling action with ducts helps alot too. Easiest and most used (I think) set up for z3m's and e36 m3's without going bbk.

I find they are quiet once they've been worked hard. I great fast road pad but PRICEY in the extreme!

I have heard that they fit RS 29 on GT3s as standard.

For road & track, PFC z-rated are one of the best. I'm very satisfied with them.
