  • 10x17 8.5x17 DARE RS wheels

Would look quite good on a lowered car with lowerish profile tyres? 1 set left at £395 well worth a look IMO! If I didn't have 4 sets of wheels I'd have a look at these

Seems like a great price for new wheels! The rear offset is good and looks quite deep dish, with a 10mm spacer it would sit nice. The front would have a bit of poke but sit nicely if you have your top mounts swapped (I run an 8.5J ET13 on the front of mine and just about get away with it so these will sit 7mm further in).

I've bought from that seller before.
Good to deal with but don't allow collection anymore!
Very good price on those wheels.
They randomly stop stocking decent wheels so if this really is the last set I hope someone here grabs them!!!

Any pic's of them on a Coupe? looking at the thread on Z roadsters the rear tyres are only 225 and not 245? what are you recommendations for the fit of these?

      cheers

Reason that guy has put those tyres on is for stretch as they will stick out loads on a non-m at the back so the stretch tapers the tyre inwards to clear the arch. A 245/40 on a 10J has some slight stretch but is perfectly fine, a 255/40 will fit fine too but you lose the relative look of the rims that you get with lower profile tyres.

For example on one set of 17s I run 245/35/17 and 215/40/17, the look is completely different to the other set of same rims running 255/40/17 and 235/40/17.

The main issue is the front wheel, perhaps a 225/40/17 tyre would be ok, but really the top mounts need to be swapped for best clearance.
