  • Strange leak....

    Hey guys,

I washed the coupe today and realised that after a few hours there was a strange puddle next to the drivers side front wheel. I had a look and it might be behind the sound proofing but the interior is bone dry, also it's water so hopefully nothing to serious...

Any help would be great :)

Could it be water from the scuttle slowly leaking out?

Might empty the washer fluid tank and then have a look

What made me mention it was the fact that the location of the puddle...if it is the hose it will be the connector that goes thru the bulkhead,,see my previous threads on this.....of course it might not be anything to do with this!

Boostina,as mentioned in my earlier thread,i replaced the rear hose, from the reservoir all the way into the car with one piece of hose and just used one connector!why it has so many connectors/elbows in it,i dont really know! glad we have solved this!its nice to help a fellow owner,as others have helped me!

Been a while since I've posted here, but I've just been doing battle with this problem again, and came up with a slightly different fix.

The connector behind the brake servo is more or less impossible to get at from the engine bay, but if you work inside the car, you can simply pull the entire rubber grommet out from the bulkhead, reconnect the hose (I added some super glue for good measure) and then push the grommet back into place.

Mel's idea of getting rid of the connectors altogether would be even better, but I was struggling to get the right hose from the dealer.

How much trim did you have to remove to gain access
