OEM MC CAR COVER WITH PIC’s

Just sharing this for information purposes really guys. I don’t own a my own garage therefore the MC was very susceptible to the elements when I don’t drive it. My daily car is an E46 sport touring…So, I took the liberty of buying the OEM outdoor car cover from the local stealer last week.

Quite happy with the quality and fitment.

Part number is: B82.15.0.018.230 and the price was 114+vat.

I'm a little confused... I also have an OEM MC car cover which looks a lot like yours, however mine is a slightly more snug fit, really hugs the car. I'm sure they are the same, maybe its just the pics, either way, looks good!

Maybe you have the roadster version? Fit is good enough for me. probably because it was new and just came out of the packet it looks a bit wrinkled LOL.

Not good to have them too tight though for ventilation reasons.

      Money well spent IMO.

Nope definately the Coupe version and fits perfect to the shape of the car, just tighter, maybe it shrunk in the rain! Couldn't agree more, mine generally only comes out when its frosty :)

Looks good... what's the interior lining like though? I'd be worrying about it scratching the bodywork.

its really soft material, i only use mine when its not in the garage and when the car is clean, its great for putting polish on the car, you can it put one coat on then every day or so put another one on

Early days Jon but I'm very confident that there will be no issues. BMW must have to make these things out of a decent material otherwise owners would be sueing their arses.

It is very important as Ben mentions that the car is CLEAN and even polished if possible.

                you mean waxed;)

I have the same cover, its excellent.

Doesnt even need elasticated ropes to hold it in place,

I'm not up to speed with all of these DETAILING TERMS.

Car gets washed and if i'm in the mood it'll get polished too.
