is that a real AC part? ive never seen one of them, i reckon one of the ebay or bmw forums retrimmers could do a good job, similar (or probably better?) than that

it looks real, all e36/z3 steering wheels from ac schnitzer were re-trimmed bmw items according to acs, they also did this type...

just ask these guys if they can do a job for you, prob be cheaper, and you can customize them to how you want (thickness, colours, quality of materials, mix n match!!!)

Admit it though Dave, it's only the ACS badge you want - the ACS carbon wheel above is hideous!

Top one is very nice though.

The UK-based seller in the first link also did an identical retrim - he's now sold out as about 3 people from e36coupe bought them all!

You buy one of his (say perforated retrim item with Tri-Colour stiching) and once you get it, send him you old wheel back. I think its about £225 or so. Looks great.

Mates Tri-Colour Evo wheel from the top seller.

This fella asked for red stiching for his GTII...

Much better option, cheaper and will be brand new compared to a second hand ACS item... Do it Dave

Yeah but the ACS are rare as hen's teeth... Buy one of the above in the interim, and if you find one, buy it and sell the other item on

But aren't the Schnitzer ones the same size again ? They look just like a retrimmed OEM wheel anyway ?

I love Ac Schnitzer parts but some just do nothing for me ie their exhausts and steering wheels

I just don't like the look of the tailpipes (I know very shallow )

I've got the footrest and to be honest it gets in the way of my size 11's unless I have my driving shoes on.I nealry took it out but have got used to it.
