The original E36/Z3 white washer bottle cap 61661379054 is NLA from BMW and most have yellowed over the years so question is has anyone found a way of restoring a yellow cap back to white?

^ This is supposedly a good alternative if you don't fancy mixing up some retrobrite yourself

If you do use this method don't forget to wrap the cap in cling film once applied to stop the solution drying out

I used a similar solution to get rid of yellowing on a washer fluid bottle and it came up great!

First attempt, cap on right put in diluted household bleach for 3 days - whiter but still yellow
