Well worth looking at strengthening the trailing arm tabs too, they are very weak/bendy stock and it's known for the H&R bars to eventually snap then.

I’ve found that a lot ebay badges are great quality wheelcaps, bonnet etc. The oe badges were always gone after a few years, and side badges on the m gills were fading after a few months

Good choice on getting the wheels back to bright silvers, much nicer than that dark finish, or even the S54 finish IMO.

Not so keen on the chrome additions though :)

I cut the cables on mine as neither wanted to budge from the hubs, so cut them off to deal with later. Removing the disc and tapping the cable out worked from memory.
